stevie: helllz yeaa! DASA!~that will be LOUD
If the Honda version is anywhere near as loud as the one on my LTR, it's almost TOO loud. Cranking up inside my garage now causes physical pain in your ears if you rev it at all. The power is worth it, but don't plan to sneak up on anyone with it!

well i think the guy came to his senses because he never responded after the original post. oh well. sounded too good to be true anyways. it was worth a shot. and btw, yea the honda dasa classics are extremely loud. tex and i seen a guy at the local sand pits with one last summer. it was one of the loudest i ever heard. didnt you buy the quite core too? have u tried it yet? how does it compare to the classic
Mine is a DASA classic. The quiet core is a spark arrestor insert that clips into the muffler and knocks the noise down considerably. Also keeps you out of trouble with the fuzz on public lands that require a spark arrestor. The other version of the DASA is the so called "quiet version" that is made for tracks that have a noise level restriction. The quiet core won't fit those. From what I understand, the quieter pipe's noise level falls somewhere between the classic with a quiet core installed and an uncorked classic. I've popped the quiet core in just to try it out, and it's about the same as the uncorked stock pipe was when you heard it before. Without it, I wouldn't be ashamed to rev at a straight piped Harley!
