ugh, worked on the quad today, one of the intake valves was so tight we couldnt get any feeler under it. finally got everything shimmed properly. exhaust valves were fine. that intake valve being so tight bothers me though, wonder if the valve seat is worn out or something bad. we put it back together but it still wouldnt crank. gonna get a new spark plug tomorrow. dad is convinced its the carb but i dunno. it tries to start but it wont run. its definitely getting spark but he thinks its not getting enough fuel. i'm not sure. hopefully we figure it out tomorrow

forgot to reset cam chain tensioner but she fired right up and idled fine. no weird noises or anything. let her warm up for about 5 or 6 minutes then revved it up and still sounded good thru rpm range. gonna finish putting it back together tomorrow and try it out. might head up to palmetto motorsports but not sure yet. fix your shit, lets ride!
Carrier on order, hopefully be together next week! Maybe it will get a lil warmer soon.
